Rose He

Rose He writes because existence does not explain itself. She is a writer from China and a PhD student in neuroscience, working across Chinese, English, and occasionally French. Her work returns to questions of existence and meaning, fate and freedom, and the fragile architectures people build against silence, chaos, and oblivion. She continues because there are still worlds she has not finished building, including a private mythology centered on a Bronze Tree she hopes to complete in her lifetime.

Steven Cline

Steven Cline was born in the city of Atlanta but spent the majority of their formative years growing up in the wild nowhere-lands of rural Georgia. It was there that they befriended a possum, a tick, and a slug. They jumped from one small town to another, but eventually returned to the city of their birth. Steven discovered surrealism through the writings of the Chicago Surrealist Group. This led to experiments with automatic writing and collage, and to a general disordering of their senses.

Vespurtinambre

But all the while, it crossed the mind of Vespurtinambre that a mountain is not always a mountain. What is a mountain to a mountain but a lover or friend?
